Wycliff Palu

Continued his strong Wallabies form in 2007 with a try in the first Test of the campaign against Wales in front of his home town crowd in Sydney. This came after his Wallabies debut in 2006 including the tour to UK, Ireland and Italy. After playing 11 of the 13 Waratahs matches in Super 14 in 2007, Palu was a member of the 2007 Rugby World Cup squad, starting in four matches.

2005 Made his Super 12 debut against the Chiefs in the opening match of the season and played in a further five matches before a shoulder injury against the Crusaders ruled him out for the rest of the season.

2006 After playing every match for the Waratahs in the Super 14, he won his first Test cap against England in Melbourne and later established himself as the starting Wallaby Number 8, a position he held for all but the last of the four Spring Tour matches.

2007 Played in 11 of the Waratahs Super 14 matches, starting at Number 8 on eight occasions. Scored in his first Wallabies appearance in 2007 against Wales, and was a member of the Rugby World Cup squad.
