France suffered a double blow today as both their first choice fly-halves Lionel Beauxis and Franois Trinh-Duc withdrew for the Test match with bogey team Argentina next Saturday in Marseille.
They have been replaced by David Skrela and veteran Damien Traille, France coach Marc Lievremont told AFP.
Beauxis, who has never played for France since Lievremont took over from Bernard Laporte after last year's World Cup, injured his groin during Stade Francais' 22-6 defeat by Clermont on Saturday.
Trinh-Duc suffered a hamstring injury during his team Montpellier's 31-26 victory over Castres.
"We didn't want to take any risks on their behalf," said Lievremont, who guided France to third in last season's Six Nations tournament.
Skrela has been capped 15 times while Traille is the most capped member of the squad with 64 and was part of the side that lost twice to Argentina in the 2007 World Cup.
