Perpignan's Scottish international lock Nathan Hines was on Thursday suspended for 30 days for trampling a player during his club's Top 14 victory over Bourgoin last month.

The Australian-born forward will be eligible to take to the paddock again from October 24, according to the discipline committee of the Ligue nationale de rugby (LNR).

Also in the dock was Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal, who was suspended from pitchside for 30 days for his behaviour during his club's league game against Clermont, also last month.

Boudjellal will be free to join coach Tana Umaga in the dug-out from October 24, the LNR ruled.

But the outspoken club president was summoned to a October 1 hearing by the committee to answer for his behaviour during the fractious Top 14 clash between Toulon and Stade Francais, which featured a huge fight between the players.

Toulon's South African scrum-half Norman Jordaan received a 20-day ban for punching during the mass brawl, which resulted in red cards for props Rodrigo Roncero of Stade Francais and Toulon's David Banquet.
